FAQ

What kind of services do we offer?

We offer different types of professional language services, according to your needs. Please visit the Services page to see a full list and descriptions of each service.

What is Word Ant’s quality guarantee?

We have three steps in our translation process: analysis, planning, working process. These lead to success. Our experienced project managers analyze and plan every project. All projects are translated only by native speakers of the target language, and they are chosen according to specific text and client requirements.

Do you provide certified and notarized (sworn) translations?

Yes, we offer certified and notarized translation, but every project is specific to the language and country. We advise you to contact our project manager to discuss every case.

How does Word Ant guarantee confidentiality?

We sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with our clients before we start working with them. We do the same with all our translators.

How does Word Ant charge for services?

We charge per word, according to the field we are translating and the target language. We have flat fees for projects less than 200 words. For Subtitling and Voiceovers, we usually charge per minute. Please feel free to contact our Project Manager for an actual price list or quote.

Why there are different prices for different languages?

In the first place, it depends on how popular translated language pair is. The second is that we always work with translators who are native speakers of the target language, most of whom live in the country where the target language is spoken. The price of your translation directly depends on how developed the economy of this country is.

Does Word Ant offer discounts?

We have developed a loyalty program for our most valued customers. Also, we can offer up to a 20% discount for new customers, depending on the volume of the project.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. We appreciate every client, so the price we settle on up front will be the final price.

If I cancel the project, will I be charged for it?

If we have received confirmation that we can start the translation and we have started the project, after cancellation you will be charged for only for the translated number of words. Please contact our Project Manager to discuss your case.

Is there any way to reduce the cost of translation?

Yes. We use advanced CAT tools (special programs that check the quantity of repetitions in text), so you will not pay twice for words that have already been translated.

How long it will take to get a quote?

You can contact us by email sales@wordant.com. It usually takes up to 15 minutes to get a quote during working hours.

Can I choose the translator for my specific project?

Yes, we can send you a “blind” CV (i.e., a CV without personal information), so you can choose a translator with the experience you’re looking for.

How do you select the translators you work with?

We have specialists who are always working to improve of our database of translators. The qualifications of every single translator are carefully checked. We guarantee that our translators are native speakers of the target language who have at least 5 years of experience.
